Gary Williams
CEO

Gary Williams has worked in charity management since 1988, when he was elected Chair of British Youth Council – a move that brought him to London from his home in Merseyside. Between 1992 and 2004 he worked in fundraising and external affairs for a range of children’s and deafness related charities.

From 2004 Gary was, in turn, CEO of an international development charity, a think tank on international governance issues and a UK wide charity for Deaf people. He has been CEO of Survivors UK since May 2022. Gary also has a track record of charity volunteering and is currently Trustee of two charitable trusts.
