Syreeta has worked with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence since 2009, both as a volunteer and a professional. 

Syreeta coordinated the Sanctuary Scheme in South London from 2013 until 2022, arranging home security measures for survivors to feel safer in their homes. 

From 2015 to 2022, she facilitated and coordinated group programmes for survivors, along with designing a group programme specifically around sexual violence/abuse and trauma and many other themed work/play shops for survivors. 

Syreeta has also delivered training and coordinated a peer support project which paired survivors with volunteers that had experienced domestic and sexual abuse. 

Syreeta joined SurvivorsUK as Group Work Manager in July 2022.
